Dr. Faooq Saatar is the deputy covenor of MQM and a Parlimentarian. He is the former mayor of Karachi, he was the youngest mayor in its history when he was elected at age 28. He has also served as Provincial Minister in the Sindh Cabinet for Local Bodies and is one of the senior Members of the MQM Co-Ordination Committee. Dr Farooq Sattar is also heading Foreign Relations Committee in the Senate.ÂÂ
